COLLEEN E. MRIGLOT

Colleen's practice focuses on representing people who have been injured.

Colleen graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2017. During her time at SU, she was an Executive Member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and administered in-house competitions. She was also the First Place Co-Finalist in the Alternative Dispute Resolution annual Client Counseling Competition, a Finalist in the Regional ADR competition held at the University of Las Vegas, and she was a qualifier in an honored writing competition. While in law school Colleen was also a law clerk at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office in the Torts Division and a legal intern at Sherrard McGonagle Tizzano & Lind.  After graduating she returned to SMT&L as an attorney, where had previously worked as a paralegal for many years.

Colleen’s practice focuses on representing people who have been injured. In particular, she has a strong sense of the difficulties women face and the many obstacles they experience in the contentious arena of working through a claim and the trial process. Her emphasis is on civil litigation in which she primarily handles claims involving motor vehicle collisions, dangerous premises, medical negligence, other serious injury, and wrongful death.

Before becoming a lawyer Colleen owned a local retail business and raised two children in Kitsap County. In her free time she enjoys spending time in her garden, hiking, and taking walks with her husband, Christoph, and her dog, Tasso.
