We often act as registered agent with the Washington Secretary of State for businesses including but not limited to corporations, non-profit corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships. As registered agent, we help ensure annual renewals are timely filed and we are designated to receive service of process notices and official correspondence on behalf of the entity.
We provide administration of trusts and probate of estates. We provide services to executors and trustees in relation to their administration and fiduciary duties, including gift and estate tax returns. We also handle disputes between beneficiaries.
Our civil litigation practice includes trust and estate disputes, business and real estate disputes, and some maritime related disputes.
Maritime Law (also known as Admiralty Law) is a separate body of law governing a variety of marine-related issues. Sherrard McGonagle Tizzano & Lind is one of the few law firms in Kitsap County that provides representation and advice on a variety of maritime matters including vessel documentation, maritime liens, towage, and salvage.
